NAKASEC Journey to Justice Bike Tour

Do you care about immigrant justice? Are you a lawyer or a law student? Do you like to bike ride?

Join the Journey to Justice Bike Tour! 10 undocumented young leaders will be traveling from the northern border near Seattle starting August 1st and ending near the southern border near San Diego on September 6th, carrying the message of Citizenship For All. They will be stopping by cities including San Francisco and Berkeley to share their stories, learn about issues impacting local communities, and build new relationships and partnerships towards meaningful citizenship for all Americans!

We need lawyers and law students to participate as legal observers and support the DREAM Riders either through biking or riding along in the van that will follow the riders in case ICE approaches the tour. We will provide a Know Your Rights training for all lawyers and law students who are available to join us- you do not need to be an immigration lawyer to play the role of protecting our riders’ constitutional rights.

If you are not able to join in person, you can still support by promoting the tour, or sponsoring a rider, or providing equipment, lodging, food, and supplies!

Please contact yhan@nakasec.org or visit our website, www.godreamriders.org for more information. Thank you for your consideration and we hope you can join us!
